Tamaki Kawaguchi

“I paint on anything anywhere, especially in the
everyday spaces that we don’t even notice ...
like when we find growth between the cracks
of concrete, hope and despair exist next to each other
... it is where a work of art finds a breath for itself.”
Tamaki Kawaguchi is a painter and performer, who
has turned the application of colour into a spectacle.
Masked in her cubicle she reminds us that outside these
walls we are sitting in, is an continuing irreversible
erasure of biodiversity
